Overview

FROM Season 3 picks up directly after the shocking climax of Season 2, fundamentally shifting the boundaries of the series by expanding the nightmare beyond the town's borders.

For the first time, a resident has seemingly escaped. Tabitha Matthews wakes up in the real world (Camden, Maine) after being pushed out of the lighthouse. As she frantically searches for answers and a way back to her trapped family, she crosses paths with Henry, Victor's estranged father, unlocking decades-old secrets about the town's origins.

Meanwhile, back in the inescapable town, the situation rapidly deteriorates into sheer desperation. The arrival of an unnaturally harsh winter causes the town's crops to rot, stretching their already fragile food supply to nothing. But starvation is only the beginning. The nocturnal monsters dramatically evolve their tactics—moving away from simple slaughter to calculated, agonizing psychological torture.

Determined to break Boyd's spirit and destroy the town's remaining hope, the entities unleash a new wave of targeted cruelty. As the community faces starvation, escalating paranoia, and horrific new supernatural threats, the survivors are pushed to their absolute breaking point.
